Busyness or Business.

It came to me today....to ponder this....

Are you about busyness or business?

Does being "busy" mean you are successful?

Does NOT being "busy" mean you are successful?

I believe some of us just reach seasons of time set apart to give ourselves a break where we can take a good look at our visions & dreams...re-evaluate what we are doing and WHY we are doing it.

We don't have time, because we don't make time.
We can ALL make time.

Your "busyness" is your choice.
Your life can be as busy or not as you want it to be.

You can dictate your weeks & months and how productive or non-productive you want to be.
You can also IGNORE the very things you know you need to do, by staying busy.

Herez to seeking and finding.
that restful place of our busyness and business.
Quality over Quantity.
Rest easy knowing, life can go on - you don't have to be that center of attention all the time.

What a weekend this was!  I've been continually challenged and inspired by what I do for a living.  I was certainly BOTH this weekend.  Without the help of my assistants Joy and Sherry, I'm pretty sure I would not have been able to get everything I had needed to make this event complete.  :)

I'll never forget over a year ago when she hired me to do the photos.  It was an amazing journey watching her life unfold and NOW she is married to the love of her life.  It was an honor to shoot their wedding and watch them commit their lives together forever. :)

What is GREAT about being a photographer & artist....

I cannot tell you the fun I had this weekend at Sherry's wedding...when you look at this photo - think about it!  She definitely encouraged me to wear my striped socks and just have fun.  Here we are, walking back into the building wrapping up our quick bride pictures outside.  I may have even been holding her dress. :)  I enjoyed serving them as my clients and friends. :)

Congrats to Conor & Sherry!

This is the beginning of a wonderful months of wedded bliss....I got to start my month off with Conor & Sherry. A very special couple whom I've had the pleasure of being friends with for a little while now.  I saw them get engaged...and was there the day it happened.  I also have seen Sherry's life & creativity unfold over these past months and have gotten to work with her several times now.  I have to say it was a happy collision of our paths.  We have had so much fun getting to work/know each other so it was only fitting that she had asked me to do their wedding photos.  I could NOT resist.  :)  I will be working on them today...and uploading their personal gallery to follow....
For those of you that were there, you KNOW the love that is there between them...
I look forward to seeing how their love & marriage blossoms!!!!

So I was asked to do the wedding photography of Sherry & Conor....
I can't wait to get there tomorrow and start experiencing that entire day!!!!
I know it will be one of the coolest weddings of the year - simply because I know them and most of the people that are going to be there.  How fun is that?
